Product Barcode

The Product Barcode widget is a PRO feature that generates and displays a scannable barcode for a Goose Commerce product, based on the product’s SKU or a custom barcode value set in Goose → Products. It is useful for in-store retail, print-on-demand labels, and warehouse management workflows.

How to Add It

Ensure you have an active Goose Commerce PRO licence.
Open the Elementor editor on your Product Details page template.
Search for Product Barcode in the widget panel.
Drag it onto the canvas in the product information section.
Select the barcode format and configure display options in the Content panel.

Note: This is a PRO widget. Barcode data is configured per product in Goose → Products → Pricing, Inventory & Specifications → Product Barcodes.

Common Use Cases

Display the Product Barcode on the Product Details page for click-and-collect or in-store retail scenarios where staff need to scan products. Include it on a printable product sheet page for warehouse pick-and-pack workflows. Use the QR Code format to link customers directly to a product page via mobile scan.

Tips & Notes

Tip: Use Code 128 for general retail use — it supports the widest range of characters and is compatible with most barcode scanners.

PRO Feature: The Product Barcode widget requires an active Goose Commerce PRO licence. Manage your licence in Goose → Settings → Premium Components.
