Monitor and manage inventory levels with per-product stock control.
Goose Commerce includes a full stock management system. Enable it per product to track quantities, set low-stock thresholds, and control backorder behaviour.
In the Inventory panel of any product, tick Manage Stock to enable quantity tracking for that product. Once enabled, you can set the stock quantity and choose what happens when stock reaches zero.
Set the current stock quantity and Goose Commerce will automatically decrement it with each order. The product status (In Stock / Out of Stock) updates automatically based on the quantity, or you can set it manually.
Set a Low Stock Threshold value. When stock drops to or below this number, Goose Commerce flags the product in your dashboard and can trigger a low-stock email notification to the store admin.
Configure whether customers can place orders when a product is out of stock. Options are Do Not Allow, Allow but Notify Customer, or Allow. Backorder status is shown in the order and to the customer if notification is enabled.
