Bulk-import products from CSV and export your catalogue any time.
The Goose Commerce import and export tools let you manage large catalogues efficiently. Import new products in bulk, update existing ones, or export your full catalogue for backups or migrations.
Navigate to Goose → Products → Import and upload a CSV file. The importer maps your CSV columns to Goose Commerce fields, supports creating new products and updating existing ones by SKU, and shows a preview before committing changes.
The CSV importer supports all core product fields including: name, description, short description, SKU, barcode, regular price, sale price, stock quantity, categories, tags, attributes, and image URLs. Variations can be imported on separate rows using the parent SKU as a reference.
Navigate to Goose → Products → Export to download your full catalogue as a CSV. You can filter the export by category, tag, or product type. The exported file uses the same column format as the importer, making round-trip updates simple.
To update existing products via import, include the sku column and match it to your existing SKUs. The importer will update those products rather than creating duplicates. Any fields not included in the CSV will remain unchanged.
