Simple, variable, and digital product types — all supported out of the box.
Goose Commerce supports multiple product types to accommodate different kinds of goods. Choose the right type when creating a product to unlock the appropriate configuration fields.
A Simple product is a single, standalone item with one price and one stock quantity. This is the most common product type — ideal for physical goods that do not have variations.
A Variable product is one that comes in multiple configurations, each defined by attribute combinations (e.g. Size + Colour). Each variation has its own price, stock, and SKU. See Product Variations for full setup details.
Mark any product (simple or variable) as Downloadable to configure file delivery. Upload one or more download files, set a download limit, and configure an expiry period. Customers receive a download link in their order confirmation email and via their account page.
A Virtual product has no physical form and requires no shipping. Enabling this on a product removes the shipping fields from the product settings and skips the shipping step at checkout.
