Shipping Management

Manage dispatch, tracking, and carrier details directly from each order.

Once an order is ready to ship, Goose Commerce gives you everything you need to mark it as dispatched, record tracking information, and keep your customer informed.

Adding Tracking Information

Open any order from Goose → Orders and locate the Shipping panel. Enter the carrier name and tracking number, then save. The tracking details are stored against the order and can be included in your shipping notification email template.

Updating Order Status to Shipped

When an order is dispatched, update its status to Shipped from the Order Status dropdown. This triggers the Shipped email notification to the customer (if configured under Goose → Settings → Email).

Partial Shipments

If an order ships in multiple packages, you can add multiple tracking entries against a single order and add an order note explaining the split shipment. The customer can be notified via a manual customer-facing note.

Bulk Shipping Updates

To update multiple orders to Shipped at once, select them from the order list and use the Bulk Actions → Mark as Shipped option. This is efficient for high-volume dispatch days.
