Process refunds and make order adjustments directly from the order screen.
Goose Commerce gives you full control over post-purchase adjustments. Whether you need to issue a full refund, a partial refund on one item, or add a manual fee, it’s all handled from within the order detail view.
To refund an entire order, open it from Goose → Orders, click Refund, and click Refund All. If the order was paid via a gateway that supports automatic refunds (e.g. Stripe), the refund is processed automatically. Otherwise, a manual refund prompt is shown.
For partial refunds, enter the quantity and/or amount to refund for each line item. You can refund individual items without refunding the entire order — useful for returns where only one product from a multi-item order is sent back.
When processing a refund, choose whether to Restock the refunded items. If enabled, Goose Commerce adds the quantities back to the product’s stock count automatically.
Add a manual fee or discount to an order from the order detail screen. This is useful for charging for additional services after the fact (e.g. express shipping upgrade) or applying a goodwill discount without creating a coupon code.
