Address Management

Manage billing and shipping addresses for every customer account.

Goose Commerce stores billing and shipping addresses on customer accounts, making repeat purchases faster and more convenient. Admins can view and edit any address from the customer record.

Default Addresses

Each customer account has a default Billing Address and a default Shipping Address. These are pre-populated at checkout for returning customers. Customers can update their default addresses from their My Account page.

Editing Addresses as Admin

Open any customer record from Goose → Customers and scroll to the Addresses panel. Click Edit next to the billing or shipping address to update any field. Changes are saved immediately.

Per-Order Addresses

Each order stores the billing and shipping address used at the time of purchase, independent of the customer’s current default addresses. This ensures historical orders always show the address they were shipped to, even if the customer updates their details later.

Address Field Configuration

The fields shown in the address form at checkout and on the My Account page are configured under Goose → Settings → Address Formats. Field order and required status can be customised per country.
