Email History

View a full log of every notification email sent to each customer.

Goose Commerce logs every transactional email sent to a customer, giving you a clear record for dispute resolution, customer support, and auditing.

Viewing Email Logs

Open any customer record from Goose → Customers and scroll to the Email History panel. The log shows every email sent to that customer — with the email type, subject line, send date, and delivery status.

Email Types Logged

The log captures all Goose Commerce transactional emails including: Order Confirmation, Processing, Shipped, Completed, Cancelled, Refund Issued, Account Registration, Password Reset, and any manually triggered resends.

Resending Emails

From the email history log, you can resend any previously sent email with a single click. This is useful when a customer reports they did not receive a confirmation or shipping notification.

Delivery Status

Where your hosting environment supports it, Goose Commerce records whether each email was successfully handed off to the mail server. Note that delivery confirmation beyond this point depends on your SMTP configuration and email provider.
