Goose Commerce sends a range of automated emails throughout the order lifecycle and customer journey. Every template is fully customisable — edit subject lines, body copy, colours, and layout from the admin.
Goose Commerce includes templates for: New Order (admin notification), Order Confirmation (customer), Processing, Shipped, Completed, Cancelled, Refunded, Customer Registration, Password Reset, and Download Ready. Each can be enabled, disabled, and edited independently.
Navigate to Goose → Settings → Email and click on any template to edit it. Update the subject line, email heading, and body content. The visual editor supports rich text formatting and HTML. Preview the template before saving to see how it will render.
Use placeholder variables in your templates to insert dynamic content. Available variables include: {{customer_name}}, {{order_number}}, {{order_date}}, {{order_total}}, {{tracking_number}}, {{download_links}}, and more.
Set a global email header image, store name, and footer text that appear consistently across all templates. Configure the header colour to match your brand from Goose → Settings → Email → Global Settings.
