Custom Attributes

Display and manage custom product attributes beyond the defaults. Flexible key-value pair display.

Overview

The Custom Attributes widget is a PRO feature that allows you to display bespoke, product-specific data fields on the Product Details page. Unlike the standard Product Attributes widget, Custom Attributes renders ad-hoc key-value pairs entered directly on an individual product in Goose → Products → Pricing, Inventory & Specifications → Custom Attributes.

How to Add It

  1. Ensure you have an active Goose Commerce PRO licence.
  2. Open the Elementor editor on your Product Details page template.
  3. Search for Custom Attributes in the widget panel.
  4. Drag it onto the canvas in the product information section.
  5. Configure the display style in the Content panel.
Note: This is a PRO widget. Custom attribute data is added per product in Goose → Products → Custom Attributes (PRO field).

Common Use Cases

Use Custom Attributes for one-off product specifications that do not fit neatly into your global attribute taxonomy — for example, unique technical specs on individual electronics or industrial goods. Add them in a tabbed layout on the Product Details page alongside the Product Attributes widget, using Custom Attributes for model-specific data and Product Attributes for shared specifications.

Tips & Notes

Tip: Use Custom Attributes for product-specific data and global Attributes (Goose → Attributes) for data shared across many products — this keeps your catalogue data well-organised.
PRO Feature: The Custom Attributes widget requires an active Goose Commerce PRO licence. Manage your licence in Goose → Settings → Premium Components.
