Grant and manage access to digital downloads on a per-customer basis.
When a customer purchases a downloadable product, Goose Commerce grants them automatic access to the download files. Admins can view, adjust, and revoke download access from the customer record.
When a downloadable product order is marked as Processing or Completed (depending on your settings), Goose Commerce automatically grants the customer access to the associated download files. A download link is included in their order confirmation email.
Each downloadable product can have a Download Limit (maximum number of times the file can be downloaded) and a Download Expiry (number of days before the link expires). These are set on the product, and individual grants can be adjusted per customer if needed.
Open a customer record from Goose → Customers and scroll to Downloads. Here you can see all downloads the customer has access to, how many times they have downloaded each file, and manually grant access to additional files or revoke existing access.
Customers access their downloads from the Customer Downloads section of the My Account page, displayed via the Customer Downloads Elementor widget. Expired or limit-reached downloads are shown as unavailable.
