Add and configure products with full control over every field.
Creating a product in Goose Commerce is straightforward. Every product gets a dedicated record with all the fields you need — from basic details through to pricing, media, and SEO.
Navigate to Goose → Products → Add New to open the product creation form. Fill in the product name, description, and short description, then configure the remaining fields in the panels below.
Set a Regular Price for standard sales and an optional Sale Price to display a discounted amount. When a sale price is set, Goose Commerce automatically shows the crossed-out original price alongside the discounted rate on the front end.
Products can be set to Published, Draft, or Private. Use Draft to work on a product before it goes live. Private products are only visible to logged-in administrators.
The product slug is auto-generated from the title but can be edited manually. Add a meta description and focus keyword for search engine optimisation directly from the product edit screen.
