Product Variations

Create variable products with unlimited attribute combinations.

Variable products let you offer a single product in multiple configurations — for example, a T-shirt in different sizes and colours. Each variation can have its own price, stock, SKU, and image.

Creating a Variable Product

When creating or editing a product, set the Product Type to Variable. Then assign one or more global attributes to the product and mark them as Used for variations. This tells Goose Commerce which attributes define the variation combinations.

Generating Variations

Once attributes are configured, navigate to the Variations panel and click Generate All Variations. Goose Commerce creates a variation entry for every possible combination of your attribute terms. You can then edit each variation individually.

Per-Variation Settings

Each variation can have its own: Regular Price, Sale Price, SKU, Barcode, Stock Quantity, Weight, Dimensions, and Featured Image. Variations inherit the parent product’s description and categories but can override all inventory and pricing fields.

Displaying Variations

On the product page, customers select their desired variation using the Variation Selector Elementor widget. The price, stock status, and image update dynamically as they make their selection.
