Never miss a sale because you ran out of stock.
The Goose Commerce dashboard surfaces low and out-of-stock products prominently so you can reorder before missing sales. Stock alerts are visible on the dashboard and can trigger admin email notifications.
The Stock Alerts panel on the Goose dashboard lists all products that have reached or fallen below their low-stock threshold. Each row shows the product name, current quantity, and a link to edit the product. The panel updates automatically as stock changes.
Configure a store-wide default low-stock threshold from Goose → Settings → Inventory. Individual products can override this with a product-specific threshold set in the Inventory panel of each product edit screen.
Configure what happens when a product reaches zero stock: either prevent purchase (the Add to Cart button is replaced with an Out of Stock message), or allow backorders (customers can still order, with a notification that the item is on backorder).
Enable admin email notifications for low stock and out-of-stock events from Goose → Settings → Inventory. Emails are sent to the configured admin address whenever a product crosses the low-stock threshold or reaches zero.
